Ingredients

    Bubbly Honey Fondue

    • 1 1/2 lbs. Swiss cheese, shredded
    • 2 Tbsp. Honey
    • 2 Tbsp. Onion, finely chopped
    • 1 Garlic clove, minced
    • 1 Tbsp. Cornstarch
    • 1 tsp. Ground mustard
    • 1/4 tsp. White pepper
    • 1 1/4 cups Ginger ale
    • 1 tsp. Lemon juice
    • Pinch ground Nutmeg
    • Pork rinds for dipping

Preparation

1. In a large saucepan, combine cornstarch, ground mustard and white pepper.
2. Whisk in ginger ale and lemon juice until smooth.
3. Add onion and garlic; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low; cook and stir until thickened, about 1 minute.
4. Gradually stir in cheese until melted. Stir in honey. Sprinkle with nutmeg.
5. Keep warm in a fondue pot or small slow cooker. Serve with your favorite Southern Recipe pork rinds.
